We are pleased to now offer a full range of Building Safety Act consultancy services to help you comply with your duties under the Building Safety Act and the Building Regulations.
Our team of experienced Principal Designers will plan, manage and monitor the design work during the design stage of a project, and coordinate matters relating to design work so that all reasonable steps are taken to ensure that the design of the building work would comply with all relevant requirements.
The Building Safety Act has been introduced to ‘create lasting generational change’ to the way higher risk residential buildings are designed, constructed and maintained in the UK. We bring together a team of Building Control professionals to advise and improve safety within buildings and construction. We all have one common goal which is building safety.
As of 1st October 2023, building owners must register higher risk buildings and provide key building information as well as be in possession of a Safety Case and a Safety Case Report for all qualifying buildings. This is in order to legally have residents within their buildings.
On projects that fall within the higher risk regime, there could be a requirement for key duty holders, such as Principal Contractors, Principal Designers and Clients, to take on more responsibilities. We are able to provide full Principal Designer and Client CDM Advisor services to support clients with the design and construction of high-risk residential schemes.
