Cycle the Month this August
KOK has supported it’s employees get fitter in the month of August whilst helping a great cause!
Throughout August, our Head of Operations, Stuart Leak undertook a 100 mile cycle challenge for Prostate Cancer UK.
Stuart stated that “Each year I take part in the Wirral Bikeathon in support of charity. This year I was unable to participate and have decided to cycle 100 miles to raise awareness and help fund lifesaving research for the 1 in 8 men affected by prostate cancer in the UK. Any support you may want to give would be hugely appreciated. I’ll be updating my progress on my LinkedIn page and JustGiving page”!
“I am pleased to have completed the ‘Cycle 100 Miles This August’. I set the modest target of raising £100 and I am really pleased to have now increased the money raised from £455 up to £505 which will help towards vital research. Thank you to all those who generously contributed towards this challenge and thank you to the Welsh mountains for destroying my thighs!! #prostatecanceruk
