THE CHALLENGE
To provide a refurbished and modernised study environment together with a Student Hub within the ground floor of a multi storey teaching and study building with all other floors being occupied.

KEY CONSIDERATIONS
Meeting the client brief within a set budget.
Achieving the client deadline with careful selection of materials with good availability.
Monitoring of costs against the budget.
Noise and disruption to other teaching and study areas within the building.
THE OUTCOME & RESULTS
The project is due for completion mid-May 2023 and is well on the way to providing the high-quality study areas envisaged. Noise and general disturbance have been kept to a minimum throughout the scheme by regular meetings between the design team, client, and contractor I order to discuss programming of noisy and disruptive work.
The scheme will provide a high-quality Student Study Area and Student Hub facility when complete in Mid-May 2023.
